Responsible Gambling

Many people feel that purchasing lottery tickets is not a serious form of gambling and that minors should be allowed to play. While lottery tickets can be a fun form of entertainment, they should be restricted to adults only. Research shows that minors are three times more likely to develop gambling problems than an adult.

Problem and Responsible Gambling Strategy

The purpose of the 2010-14 Problem and Responsible Gambling Strategy is to continually review emerging trends and issues in the areas of problem and responsible gambling to ensure a mutual understanding and commitment to related priorities and actions.
